Sporty performance and optimal driving control are the main features of the Pirelli P Zero. The tyre has been designed for premium sports cars with a high performance engine. The model features an innovative asymmetric tread pattern. Its triple-ribbed construction ensures rigidity and also helps maintain a balanced pressure between the tyre and the ground. This all results in improved braking performance and traction, even at high speeds. The outer shoulder features wide blocks, which increase steering precision and driving stability, thus improving the typical performance specifications of a sports car.
The Pirelli P Zero offers excellent performance on both wet and dry surfaces. Three wide, longitudinal grooves guarantee fast water dispersal, improving grip and ensuring greater safety against the risk of aquaplaning. The tyre is made from an innovative compound featuring a silica additive, making it exceptionally light and strong. The compound's properties limit rolling resistance, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The tyre is also very resistant, both to mechanical damage and to rapid wear. This extends its service life and the model offers its full performance specifications for its entire lifetime. The increased contact area between the tyre and the road ensures better grip and fluidity and stability during dynamic manoeuvres and when negotiating corners. The tyre is ideal for those who favour a fast and sporty style of driving but who are also looking for safety and comfort.
In 2016, Pirelli P Zero was among the three best tyres that passed the test organised by ADAC for size 225/45 R17 tyres.
