Technical description:
Each of the tyre's features has been designed with care for even the smallest of details. The model is intended as the future replacement for two tyres which achieved considerable success: the Continental ContiWinterContact TS 830 P and the Continental ContiCrossContact Winter and performs even better than its predecessors thanks to the outstanding design of the individual tread features. This design not only improves handling on snow and dry roads, but also reduces braking distances in all of the conditions which may be encountered in winter. The model is also the perfect choice for SUV owners, since the tread is ideally suited for providing a high level of safety on unpaved roads. The innovative tread design improves performance on snow by up to 5%.
The tyre's stand-out features include larger angles and shorter distances between the individual blades set on its surface, which - together with the large number of specially designed sharp edges - ensure outstanding performance in the most challenging of winter conditions. The tyre maintains superb grip and delivers short braking distances on wet and dry roads thanks to the sophisticated design of the central section of the tread, which comes into direct contact with the road. The lower sidewall design means that the tyre provides not only a high level of safety, but also outstanding comfort and low rolling resistance, which in turn reduces fuel consumption. The tyre underwent a number of specialised tests before being launched on the market, examining its performance in all the different weather conditions typically encountered at this time of year. All of the test results proved that this is yet another Continental tyre offering truly all-round performance for drivers.
